Landscaping maintenance across Southwest Montréal.
CaféTico welcomes requests for lawn care, spring cleanup and autumn leaf management in Verdun, Île-des-Sœurs, Pointe-Saint-Charles, Saint-Henri, Petite-Bourgogne, Griffintown, Ville-Émard, Côte-Saint-Paul, LaSalle and Lachine. All locations are open to quotes after an assessment.
Each municipality sets its own rules. Rules and collection calendars summarized from official municipal pages reviewed on October 9, 2026. They change, so confirm the rules for your address and work date before scheduling.
A useful maintenance plan starts with the property itself: the lawn and planting areas, the entrances that need to remain clear, and the space available to store cleanup material. Access and collection arrangements should be established before the visit, particularly where outdoor space is shared.
Verdun and Île-des-Sœurs
These locations share Verdun’s municipal framework. Plan powered leaf cleanup for the borough’s authorized seasons and use its address-specific green-waste schedule. For the full equipment guidance and collection preparation, see the Île-des-Sœurs page. Verdun property-maintenance regulations
Pointe-Saint-Charles, Saint-Henri, Petite-Bourgogne, Griffintown, Ville-Émard and Côte-Saint-Paul
These neighbourhoods fall within Le Sud-Ouest. They can share a municipal-guidance section, but the quote should still reflect each property’s access, outdoor layout and material volume.
Keep leaf and garden waste in the appropriate collection stream, separate from food scraps and household litter. Check the property’s exact pickup point and current schedule before leaving bags for collection. A cleanup can include preparation for collection when that is part of the agreed scope. LaSalle
LaSalle’s published neighbourhood-noise guidance allows maintenance such as lawnmowing and hedge trimming from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week. Use the local green-waste calendar when planning seasonal cleanup, and confirm any equipment-specific conditions before work. The maintenance-hour summary should not be treated as a blanket statement that every blower model is permitted. Montréal neighbourhood-noise guidance
Lachine
Lachine combines accepted garden waste and food waste in its organic collection. Collection is available across the borough, including apartment buildings and participating business and institutional properties. Check the address and sector before scheduling material presentation. Lachine collections: sorting, composting and recycling, Organic-material collection
Seasonal timing and careful waste sorting
Arrange autumn visits as leaves accumulate, with a later visit if the property needs it. Clear access routes first, then assess the lawn and garden beds. In spring, schedule heavier lawn work when the ground is firm enough for the planned traffic.
Keep leaves free of litter. Put household garbage in its designated stream and check separate options for oversized branches, soil or construction debris. General cleanup should not create new piles in the road or obstruct walking routes.
Tell CaféTico your neighbourhood, property type, access arrangements and desired maintenance. An assessment establishes the work areas, suitable equipment and handling of the material produced.
Every service can be requested across Montréal Island, including its independent municipalities. Quotes and schedules follow an assessment. Not sure if you are covered? Send your postal code and we will confirm.
