Property maintenance in Montréal’s central communities.
CaféTico accepts quote requests in Westmount, Outremont, Town of Mount Royal, Hampstead, Côte-Saint-Luc, Montréal West, Notre-Dame-de-Grâce and Côte-des-Neiges. Quotes follow a property assessment.
Each municipality sets its own rules. Rules and collection calendars summarized from official municipal pages reviewed on October 9, 2026. They change, so confirm the rules for your address and work date before scheduling.
The aim is a maintenance plan suited to the outdoor space: lawn care where grass is actively maintained, careful leaf removal from access routes, and seasonal cleanup that accounts for trees, beds and the handling of surplus material.
Independent municipalities and Outremont
Westmount, Town of Mount Royal, Hampstead, Côte-Saint-Luc and Montréal West each have municipal rules of their own. Outremont is a Montréal borough with its own equipment requirements. Consult the corresponding standalone pages for the local leaf-blower, working-hour and collection guidance.
An electric blower may suit a particular visit, but it does not automatically make the visit permissible on any day or at any time. The location and date still determine the requirements.
Notre-Dame-de-Grâce and Côte-des-Neiges
NDG and Côte-des-Neiges share the Côte-des-Neiges–Notre-Dame-de-Grâce borough’s blower restrictions. Two-stroke gas-powered leaf blowers and leaf vacuums are prohibited at all times. Other blower categories are prohibited from June 1 through September 30.
From October 1 through May 31, permitted hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Friday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday. Use is prohibited on Sundays and public holidays. Battery-powered blowers remain subject to these seasonal and hourly conditions. CDN–NDG leaf-blower restrictions
Preparing a seasonal cleanup
For NDG and Côte-des-Neiges, use the green-waste collection requirements selected for the borough and confirm the schedule for the property’s address. Montréal’s accepted green-waste containers include paper bags and qualifying reusable containers; local specifications still apply. Montréal green-waste guidance, Info-Collectes
For the independent municipalities, use their own calendars and container rules. A bin colour or collection day from a neighbouring municipality may not apply to your property.
When to book
Plan autumn work around both leaf fall and the authorized equipment window. A first visit can address paths and initial accumulation; a later visit can deal with the remainder. Spring work should follow the condition of the soil rather than a fixed start date for every property.
Send CaféTico the property location, the outdoor areas you want maintained and your preferred timing. The assessment helps establish a quote that reflects the work and local constraints.
Every service can be requested across Montréal Island, including its independent municipalities. Quotes and schedules follow an assessment. Not sure if you are covered? Send your postal code and we will confirm.
