Who we are

CaféTico Landscaping is a bilingual (French and English) landscaping business serving Montréal Island, led by founder Ruben Darío Charry. Landscaping is the first operating activity of Café Tico Trading Company Inc.

Rated 5.0 on Google (30 reviews, landscaping profile). Insured – contractor’s commercial general liability.

What we can look after

  • Grounds care: mowing and edging, upkeep of beds and planting, hedges and shrubs where the written scope says so.
  • Seasonal cleanups and garden winter preparation (leaf removal, bed cleanup).
  • Project work, scoped and quoted separately from recurring care: new beds, planting, redesign and interlocking work.
  • Common-area cleaning (interior) on a limited basis, assessed per building. Enquiry only.

What we do not offer

  • Snow removal or de-icing.
  • Common-area cleaning does not include medical disinfection, high-rise window cleaning, hazardous waste handling, security patrols, technical inspections or licensed repairs.

How an engagement works

  1. Discuss the property.
  2. Assess the site, usually with you or your manager.
  3. Prepare the scope and a proposal in writing: tasks, exclusions and price. Recurring, seasonal and project work are kept separate, and additional work is approved before it is done.
  4. Agree responsibilities, access, reporting recipients and scheduling before the first visit.

Communication and records

  • One named contact.
  • A checklist for each visit and a brief photo report to the recipients you name. The photo report is a record of completed work and visible concerns, not a technical inspection certificate.

A sample visit checklist and brief photo report is shown, labelled as an illustration, on the commercial services page.

Documented work

Our documented projects are residential (Outremont and Kirkland). They show our planting, bed and hedge work. They are not commercial contracts, and we do not present them as such. We do not publish client names or references here.

Service area

Montréal Island, including its independent municipalities. Island-wide coverage does not mean unlimited availability: we confirm what we can take on after the assessment.
